Carolyn Wold has been working in the field of Family Violence Prevention for over 15 years and for Solano County for over 17 years. She is currently the Director of the Office of Family Violence Prevention and the Solano Family Justice Center and supervised the District Attorney’s Victim Witness Unit.
Carolyn has been instrumental in bringing nearly $5 million in funding to Solano County to develop and implement family violence prevention efforts. She is a Visiting Lecturer at Touro University and presents workshops on children’s exposure to violence, building collaboration and grant writing.
In March 2014, Carolyn was named Woman of the Year by the Solano County Library Foundation Women’s History Month Committee.
